Where I’ve Been.

Photo Via: Teri Mills

Wow, where has all of the time gone? I have been away for ages, I know. I have been entirely too busy with life, and got caught up with everything. You see my spring break was this past week, and I was everywhere, but on the computer. I will be sure to fill you guys in on everything that happened, but all in separate post. So, be sure to keep your eyes open all this week for new posts of my entire week.

I will begin on giving you some background of my week. Well, for starters, I turned over a new leaf. I started a new chapter in my life, my last chapter is apart of my past that needs to be finished. So, heres to moving on and looking forward to the future. I did not go anywhere special for my spring break, I just went home, (Actually when I got home my parents informed me that they had a surprised trip planned, so I has no intentions in going anywhere). Also, during my break I hung out with friends that I have not seen in ages. It is always great to catch up, gossip, and reminisce with old friends. I then went on a family trip for a few days to Nashville, Tennessee. All of my spring break, every day, is a story all itself. I will be sure to share everything with you this week, with videos and photos included.

Now how about everyone else? How did your week, weekend, spring break, go? How is life going? Feel free to share.

The Facebook 30 Day Challenge.

It seems that everyone on Facebook has been participating in the 30 Day Challenge. It is completely clogging up my newsfeed from everyone doing it. No matter how many times I said I would not do it, I knew sooner or later I would conform just as everyone else. Except this time, instead of making it public and hogging the newsfeed I decided to do it on here. I like it better this way, and it also lets me believe that I am still breaking the mold.

Day Two

A PICTURE OF ME AND THE PERSON I HAVE BEEN CLOSEST TO THE LONGEST
Of course my family, but they will come along here later on. This girl right here I have known since we were three years old. I love her to death, she has been there for me through think and thin. She has defiantly seen me at my worst moments, and has been with me at my best. We might be hundreds of miles apart at college, but we still talk on a regular basis. She has been a great friend through all of the years.

Day Three

A PICTURE OF THE CAST OF YOUR FAVORITE SHOW
Criminal Minds is my favorite show hands down.

Day Four

A PICTURE OF SOMETHING YOU WISH YOU COULD FORGET
The day I lost my grandma. Its been almost a year, and I still feel like she is not gone, although I know it is true. Nothing is the same.

Day Five

A PICTURE OF YOUR FAVORITE MEMORY
Panama City Beach for my senior spring break trip. It was the best time of my life. I would do it again in a heart beat. The song If I Could Do It Again by Cory Smith is practically our story.

Day Six

A PICTURE OF A PERSON YOU’D LOVE TO TRADE PLACES WITH FOR A DAY
I love Sandra Bullock. I admire her to the extreme. She is one of the smartest, and strongest women in the movie business today. It is hard to find a celebrity that can be suitable for a role model. Plus, if I traded places with her, I could have access to Ryan Reynolds.

Day Seven

A PICTURE OF YOUR MOST TREASURED ITEM
I love my Mac. I hardly let anyone on it, and I must always be present. It is my pride and joy, defiantly the best gift I ever received. I treat it as if it was my child, and I even named it. His name is Sid because he is sleek and sophisticated.

Day Eight

A PICTURE THAT MAKES YOU LAUGH
I laugh every time I go through these pictures on my computer. They are great, and every single one makes me laugh harder and harder. I love these girls.

Day Nine

A PICTURE OF THE PERSON THAT HAS GOTTEN YOU THROUGH THE MOST
This is an old picture, but I love it. Lissa has defiantly gotten me through a lot, maybe its because we both have went through it together. She is always there when I need her. She has been my best friend for years now. We have always gone to different schools, but we make it work. This girl will be in my wedding one day. I love her, even when she has her “master” moments.

Day Ten

A PICTURE OF THE PERSON YOU DO THE SILLIEST THINGS WITH
My friends. My girls. Each an every single one of them. We are all crazy, and have the best memories. I love them.

Day Eleven

A PICTURE OF SOMETHING YOU HATE
I hate tea. There is nothing I like about it. It is not just sweet tea either, any tea, any flavor.

Day Twelve

A PICTURE OF SOMETHING YOU LOVE
My family. I love them all. This picture does not do us justice, there are so many of us. They are my rock, and I know that they will support me in anything I will face in my life. My family is great, and I would not have it any other way.

Day Thirteen

A PICTURE OF YOUR FAVORITE BAND OR ARTIST
I love so many bands and artist. I listen to all kinds of music, all genres. I chose a picture of Mayday Parade because I do love them, all of their songs. However, some of my other favorites are Streamline, Boyce Avenue, Trey Songz, Sugarland, and so much more.

Day Fourteen

A PICTURE OF SOMEONE YOU COULD NEVER IMAGINE YOUR LIFE WITHOUT
My brothers. I love them with everything I have. We went through our typical years of hating one another, but just as we were told, we grew up and all get along now. I would die if anything happened to them. We always have a great time when we are together. I am so thankful for how close we are, and I am proud to say that you will not find any siblings like us.

Day Fifteen

A PICTURE OF SOMETHING YOU WANT TO DO BEFORE YOU DIE
I want to be able to repay my parents for everything they have done for me. They have helped me through so much of my life. They have worked so hard in raising my brothers and I. I want to be able to show them how much they mean to me. They deserve it.

Day Sixteen

A PICTURE OF SOMEONE WHO INSPIRES YOU
I love my grandpa. This is a picture of him and I years ago when I was a baby. He is such a huge part of my life. He is the smartest person I know, and has the biggest heart. He is the exact person that would take the shirt off of his back for another person. His door is always open for a visit. He is a great person, inside and out. I am so happy that I have grown so close to him.

Day Seventeen

A PICTURE OF SOMEONE THAT HAS MADE A HUGE IMPACT ON YOUR LIFE RECENTLY
Jake, my boyfriend. I have know Jake for years, but never was I as close to him as I am now. He has taught me so much about life, love, and about myself. He has proven to me how strong I truly am. He makes me laugh like no one else. He has become such a huge part of my life, that he will always been a huge part of me where ever life decides to take us.

Day Eighteen

A PICTURE OF YOUR BIGGEST INSECURITY
Maybe just as every woman, my weight. It has always been an insecurity of mine, and probably always will be.

Day Nineteen

A PICTURE OF YOU WHEN YOU WERE LITTLE
Obviously I am a looker. I was probably the most easy-going baby ever. Oh, and I loved that car.

Day Twenty

A PICTURE OF SOMEWHERE YOU’D LOVE TO TRAVEL
Ireland. I would love to go there.

Day Twenty-One

A PICTURE OF YOUR FAVORITE NIGHT
For some reason I do not have any pictures from any my favorite nights: Miami Light or Panama. Then I found this picture, and I do have to say this is up there with my favorite nights. We slept out on a trampoline in the middle of the summer, oh I miss the old days.

Day Twenty-Two

A PICTURE OF SOMETHING YOU WISH YOU WERE BETTER AT
Memorizing. It takes me a lot of going over and over in order to make something stick. I just wish I was like many others who can look at it once, or even two times and know it. That would make my life so much easier.

Day Twenty-Three

A PICTURE OF YOUR FAVORITE BOOK
Im not a big reader, quite frankly because I am so busy, but I loved this book. Any by Jodi Picoult is great.

Day Twenty-Four

A PICTURE OF SOMETHING YOU WISH YOU COULD CHANGE
My senior year of soccer. We had some issues, that I wish were smashed first thing. Without those I believe that we would of gone so far, but like I said we had our drawbacks. If I could go back and change all of that I would in a heartbeat. I loved high school soccer, and my senior year let me down, let me down bad.

Day Twenty-Five

A PICTURE OF YOUR FAVORITE DAY
Spring break in Panama. This day was wonderful and terrible all the same. We met the Real World Cast, which was a huge highlight of my trip. This day was just great.

Day Twenty-Six

A PICTURE THAT MEANS A LOT TO YOU
This is a picture of me and my Mammaw right after I was born. The only picture I have of it is a polaroid. If anything happened to the original I would be devastated.

Day Twenty-Seven

A PICTURE OF YOURSELF AND A FAMILY MEMBER
A picture of me and my little cousin Maddy. She the youngest of all of us cousins. She is precious.

Day Twenty-Eight

A PICTURE OF SOMETHING YOU ARE AFRAID OF
I am afraid of lots of things: spiders, the dark, and death. I could not find a picture of the other two, so I went with spiders. I hate them so much I couldn’t even put a picture of a real one on here, they make me sick.

Day Twenty-Nine

A PICTURE THAT MAKES YOU SMILE
I love my brothers and this picture. This pretty much sums up how we act. They are the best siblings I could ask for.

Day Thirty

A PICTURE OF SOMEONE YOU MISS
I did not think it would be fair if I chose one person that I miss, because there are a lot of people out these I miss. For one, my Mammaw and Grandmas P. I do not have a picture of Grandma P, but I miss that woman with everything. Both lived a complete happy life, but no matter how old they are, it is just as hard. Then comes Steph, Shane, and Rachel. They has so much life to live, and their time was cut short, and I think that is what hurts the most. I still think about all of them every single day. At times I wonder where they would be if what happened, never happened. They were all great people, with great hearts. And miss more than words can describe.

Hello Blogging World.

So this is what it is like, writing a post in a blog? Opening lines can make you or break you I believe. I never really know what to exactly say, everything seems to just spill out in its own fashion. That can get me in trouble from day to day situations, but I did not want to start out my new blog with a cliché “Hello!” or “Hi, how ya doing?” I wanted to break out of that uncomfortable “Hey” then not knowing what comes next to follow up my introduction. The following step is even harder than the introduction itself. It is now time to choose which path to take down the road of conversation. You want to leave a good lasting impression by the time you are finished, without leaving the other person scared out of their whits running in the opposite direction from you. One tries to be funny, not awkward. One tries to be intelligent and intellectual, and then ends up choking on their own word vomit. Instead with my approach to this blog I am hoping to avoid that whole cluster-fuck of a situation all together by bypassing through the Hello how are you’s to the solid beginning of my blogging life.

I have never really understood the meaning of “blogging,” until recently. I have now become very intrigued with the whole new idea. A very good friend of mine got me hooked. She is a usual blogger, and her guiltiest pleasure is to search out wedding blogs, and other blogs that grasp her attention. At first I never understood her obsession, but before long I was just as interested in blogging as she was.

I am a college student, and this is only another online engine to blame upon my lack of focus and studies. This will only fuel my procrastination ways and before long I will probably be failing out of school, and my reasoning “Sorry, I was blogging and lost track of time.”

I have a feeling that somewhere down the road I will be in this woman’s shoes.
(Well if I have not sold my shoes by that point).

Now that the nerve wracking part is out of the way, welcome to my blog.

Here is where I will spill my lessons learned, thoughts, ideas, or whatever else I personally desire from which I discover everyday. Keep up if you can.

My mind wonders, and I get off track of the main topic of the situation. I began writing when I was a kid, and I have always found a passion for it. On numerous occasions I have been told to write a book, and maybe later on down the line I will. If it sells, who the hell cares, but at least one person buys it I will be satisfied. Unlike most and like most, I am very close with my family. My mother and father are known for their “Good Morning Breakfasts’.” They have raised me to be an outspoken female that can depend on no one but herself. I love music, photographs, and inspiring quotes, they feed my soul. Many things grasp my attention, and I have a tendency of thinking far outside of the box. The simplest form of something can completely move me, but there is also something about a subjects complexity that can pull me in. I hope to leave at least one person with a little more insight than they had before, lift someone’s spirits, put a smile on a person’s face, or all of the above would be good too. Until that defying moment, this is my grand entrance to the world of blogging. Hello, it’s nice to meet you.
