Awkward & Awesome.

Photo Via: Mallory Varnum

Awkward:

Answering your cell phone like you answer the phone at work, “Hello, this is _______. Thank you for calling _______. What can I do for you today?”

Choosing between letting someone know their butt is hanging out of their jeans as they are bending over or just not say a word.

Burning your neck on a curling iron and it ironically resembles a hickey.

Searching everywhere for an item in your closet then blame it on someone for taking it, only to realize you find it hanging in there later on.

Trying to park your car and have to straighten it out multiple time, and grabbing the attention of onlookers.

When you tell your parents you are at a friends out, and then your parents just happen to run into that exact friend.

This girl’s habit of eating chalk.

The moment when you continue to smell something bad so you self consciously start believing it is you.

When you go to get a pedicure and its been awhile..enough said.

Awesome:

The raspberry fruit smoothie I made myself the other night at midnight! (Photos will be uploaded later).

Waking up early to go for a run, and love it. Even if it kills you later on, at the time it felt absolutely great.

Being able to quote an entire movie with a group of friends.

Listening to Like It’s Quidditch while making chocolate chip cookie dough with my best friend.

Seeing three movies in the theater in a weeks time.

When I found someone that loves the movie Steel Magnolias as much as I do.

Sunday dinner with my family. This sunday consisted of ribs, corn, mac and cheese, bread rolls, baked beans, macaroni salad, and fried potatos.

The feeling you get when you finish a project.

How great the weather has been outside, no more rain, just straight sunshine.

All of the fresh fruit that are in season during the summer. Fruit on a hot summer day is my favorite!

Fruit Rubik’s Cube.

How great does this fruit cube look?! This would just be perfect for a fun little snack during the summertime. It has pieces of watermelon (my favorite), kiwi, and feta cheese. This new spin on a fruit salad is ingenious. I just love the whole idea. I defiantly will have to try this out this summer.

Memorial Day.

Photo Via: I stumbled upon this online, but it had no source to which I could find. I usually will not use pictures without a source, but I fell in love with this photo and had to share it with you.

Have a wonderful Memorial Day everyone. The sun is out and there is not a cloud in the sky. I would like to dedicate this blog to all of the men and women in the armed services. Thank you for everything you have done. Your bravery is greatly appreciated.

Awkward & Awesome.

Awkward:

Being pooped on by birds.

While out shopping, and someone is standing in front of the item you need. You then play it off and act like you are looking at something else.

Asking a person to repeat themselves for the third time because you did not hear what they said, and still not hearing them.

Trying to be as quiet as you can when you are running late and entering the room, but no matter how silent you are everyone stops what they are doing ans stares.

Pretending like you didn’t already know when someone tells you a secret.

Crashing to the ground from slipping on carpet while running away from barking dogs..that where fenced in.

Being confident about an answer and announce it in class for it to only be wrong.

Blowing your nose in a complete quiet room.

Having a person tell you how much they love you, when secretly you can not stand them in return.

Awesome:

That dress in the above picture. I would love to have that dress in my closet right now.

Coming home from a long day at work and taking off yours shoes as soon as you walk through the door. It is an instant relief.

Being told to walk out to your car, only to find a dozen roses there.

The way I get cold chills while listening to Haley Reinhart sing House of the Rising Sun. She is absolutely amazing.

A night with the girls, filled with drinks, fun, and laughter.

Ice cold milk that has been sitting in the freezer for a few minutes with cookies hot out of the oven.

Hearing an old song on the radio that you have not heard in years and still being able to recite it word for word.

Finding a couple extra dollars in an old pair of jeans.

Watching a thunderstorm as I am trying to fall asleep.

Believe In Everything.

Photo Via: Beautiful Clicks

I saw this and figured I would share it with you! Believe in the unbelievable. What would the world be without some imagination. Just think of this place without Harry Potter (I am still waiting on my acceptance letter by the way).
