I am back! Boy have I been a busy girl. How was everyone’s weekend?? This weekend began with an oh so awesome girls night. It was great to see old friends for the first time in ages (some since last summer). The next morning, bright, shiny, and early, my mom and I drove back to where I go to school and back in the same day just so I could play some soccer. Oh the extremes our family goes for sports, and what I do for soccer. After playing though, I was ready for sleep. I believe I slept over a total over ten hours, but it was great, and much needed.
The more this summer lags on the more and more I want to A) work on my tan (which I don’t ever have the time to do, by the time I am hope it is nightfall). B) go to the beach (I want to go now). Both of those would go hand in hand, so a beach right about now sounds absolutely perfect. Don’t ya think?

Don’t you hate when your clothes shrink? I just had this happen to me. I woke up (late as always) for work and went to put on my dress pants for the office. Lo and behold they turned into high waters after an over night wash that my mother secretly did.
You see I told her they were dry clean only, and that today I would take them downtown to the dry cleaner. They still had a few wears left in them so I planned to take them to the cleaners on Wednesday. Instead my crazy mother washed them for me, with thinking that it would be a nice gesture. Instead they shrunk in length about four sizes (far beyond the point of even pulling them off to be cute). I was beyond furious when I woke up this morning. It now looks like I have grown four inches, which would be nice if it actually would of happened. So now I have no clue what to wear to work, because I also had the same pair in a kaki color, but those only shrunk a tad bit. The black pair were my favorite (because obviously it goes with more lol).
This is how my mom responded when I drilled her with questions about it. “Mom, did you wash my pants last night?”…”Yes”…”I told you they were dry cleaned.”…”I know, but that doesn’t mean anything.”…”Oh really? Then explain to me why my black pants are high waters right now?”…”Oh, that has never happened to me before. Sorry?”
Note to self: never let mom go near my laundry ever again..unless she has permission.
This blog is a little late in the day (technically early in the morning), but since I have not slept yet it still counts as today. Right? Regardless of the actual day, today has no other word but awesome would do. Four other girls and I took a trip to Kings Island for the day. The weather at first this morning was rainy, but no worries, it cleared up just as we hoped for! It is always nice to go on days like that, because not as many people are at the park. We road just about every roller coaster they have to offer. My personal favorite of the day was the Diamondback. If you click on that link right there you can check out a virtual ride of the roller coaster.
After riding rides all day, it was finally time to call it a day. Of course that is after we stop by Five Guys. If you have never eaten at Five Guys I would do yourself a favor and go. Five Guys “Burgers and Fries” was the perfect way to end the day. Plus, I am still pretty full from eating it. Man does it fill you up!
Life doesn’t get much better than this. Great weekend.

When I get poked by a creepy old man on Facebook.
The way you walk around right after you paint your nails so you don’t mess them up.
On that note, how terrible my nails look when I am finished with them. They look like a toddler did each one. I just need to stick to a professional.
When I ask someone if they like it here (their job) and they respond, “Yeah for the most part, just my boss is a dick.” Then come to find out…my dad is their boss.
How I don’t respond when someone tells me it looks like I had a rough morning.
Having a conversation that is blanketed by music..for only the song to change and you are caught mid-sentence during the brief silence.
Me walking around the office trying to find a stapler.
The noises I make when I am lifting weights.
Running into the girl who was the reason for my most recent breakup with my ex.
Waking up rested to start my day off with a morning run.
Sleeping with the windows open at night and letting the natural cool air control the temperature in my room.
When my boss tells me I did an awesome job after a completed assignment (Yes! I can finally breathe again).
Finally being able to spend the night with friends since now the real working world consumes our lives.
Catching up on some much needed sleep.
When I find a close parking space in the lot at work.
Having the best night that I have had in awhile, and getting away with it.
In depth discussions about religion and such around the campfire.
My mom. The end.
